This time, we watched one of the vlogs made by Eva Menard, the volunteer working at the Support Service. She told us about a volunteer meeting in Visegrád, Hungary, and we had a discussion afterward.
A few weeks ago, Eva attended an Ateez concert in Paris and made a 20-30 minute vlog about it. The footage conveyed the excitement of anticipation, allowing us to experience the concert through her lens. I have never been to such a large concert before, and even through video, I was impressed by the atmosphere. Eva presented the vlog while wearing an Ateez tour hoodie and brought her concert ticket, which was designed like an entry pass. The band toured Europe in January and February, and the hoodie featured the concert dates.
For those unfamiliar with this part of the music world, Ateez is an eight-member Korean boy band that creates music in the K-pop genre. Their fans refer to themselves as "Atiny." I found it interesting that within the band, there is a hierarchy based on age—members' names are always listed in descending order of age, and the youngest member must show respect to the older ones. K-pop has become quite popular recently, and even within the genre, different bands have distinct musical styles.
Volunteers in Hungary regularly organize multi-day gatherings, and there has already been one earlier this academic year. The most recent one took place in Visegrád. These occasions provide a great opportunity to share experiences and build friendships. Eva spoke positively about the event and Visegrád itself. Unfortunately, they were unable to visit the castle, as it was closed at the time.
Overall, it was another pleasant Monday evening spent at the office.
